Michael Mowla is a criminal appellate law specialist whose principal office is in Dallas.  He is Board Certified in Criminal Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Mowla represents clients on appeal before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, the Supreme Court of Texas, all Texas Courts of Appeals, and the New York Court of Appeals.  

Mowla also represents clients at trial before all federal district courts in Texas and Texas district and county courts

Finally, Mowla represents those convicted or adjudicated of crimes in postconviction or postjudgment habeas corpus proceedings in Texas state and federal courts.

Mowla represents clients accused or convicted of any crime, including capital murder, murder, manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, aggravated assault, aggravated robbery, robbery, sexual offenses, theft, possession or delivery of a controlled substance, financial crimes, DWI, burglary, solicitation offenses, conspiracy offenses, engaging in organized criminal activity, mail fraud, wire fraud, bankruptcy fraud, tax fraud, federal drug crimes, money laundering, affecting or obstructing commerce by robbery (Hobbs Act), RICO, alleged violations of the Controlled Substances Analogue Act, probation revocation, and firearms offenses.
